The students who join learning cycle 5E have score about 80.00 in cognitive, 82.36 in affective, and 82.14 in psychomotoric aspects. The research of Ria Yuli Susanti (2012) with the title of Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5 Fase (LC 5-E) terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas XI IPA pada Materi Termokimia di SMA Negeri 2 Malang, concludes that learning cycle 5E can increase the 47 For affective aspect, it was found to be 47.22% in 1st cycle and 80.50% in 2nd cycle. The value is 6, 645 > 1, 1994 with the significant grade of 5%. Then the value of intercept (p) is 0.000. The value of F (13.717) is higher than F table (4.001). It was shown by covariant analysis anacova one way. According to the research result, Learning Cycle 5E Assisted by Prototype Media Based on Cmap Tools is more effective than Direct Instruction Model to increase the student learning outcome. The data analysis was anacova by SPSS and descriptive percentage. The method used in this study was quasi-experimental methods. The samples were students of class XI MIPA 2 as an experimental class which was conducted by Learning Cycle 5E Assisted by Prototype Media Based on Cmap Tools and the students of class XI MIPA 3 as control class was conducted by Direct Instruction Model. This research was held in MAN Yogyakarta 1, academic year 2015/ 2016. The Learning Cycle 5E consists of engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration and evaluation.
